Personalise your experience and visit age-old vinegar lofts to learn the secrets of this exquisite product, meet the artisan barrel makers and, most importantly, taste the product, learning to identify the various types, on its own or paired with other local delicacies.

To make great balsamic vinegar takes great skill, as well as time and the right barrels.  Tradition teaches us that one generation prepares balsamic vinegar for the next: the older the barrel the better the product.  A dense, deep claret colour, intense flavour and almost syrupy consistency makes for an unforgettable sensory experience: the fruit of years in barrels made with wood from Modena and Reggio Emilia, in the Food Valley, where producing families personally oversaw the aging of the must for centuries.

You can visit balsamic vinegar artisans, vinegar lofts, sample different types of balsamic vinegar and you can have lunch or food and vinegar pairings with the vinegar producers.
