One of the highlights of the 2027 edition is the pairing of two closely related operas: Aroldo, making its Festival Verdi debut under the baton of Roberto Abbado, and Stiffelio, conducted by Gianluca Capuano at the Teatro Verdi in Busseto. These two works offer audiences a rare opportunity to discover and compare the original opera with its later reworking.

After more than a decade, La traviata also returns to the Festival, one of the world’s most beloved and frequently performed operas, conducted by Michele Spotti. We had a Messa da Requeim with Michele Mariotti, formidable, and a very nice La forza del destino with a very interesting staging that played on the lights, very sober; we had the opportunity to go to Fidenza in the small theater with Il Trovatore, very very good. And I've been working with Parma Incoming for 5-6 years now and I'm very happy because they organize everything for me and when you arrive with about 20 people everything is ready, the hotel, the tickets, the visits, so it’s all going very well. So I recommend you to come to Parma for the Festival Verdi!
