A treat for the eyes and the palate!
During your personalised experience, take a vineyard tour with an oenologist, visit the best wineries, taste their wines with the producers themselves or a qualified sommelier, and learn how to pair them with other typical local products. Flavours and fragrances of an authentic land where simple wines are made great.
Lively, vivacious, sparkling or dry, the distinctive regional character of Emilia always shines through. Wines produced here are the authentic expression of an ancient tradition: part of our heritage, passed down by people who knew the art of bottling pure emotion. Wine appreciation has a long history in the Colli di Parma terroir, in the Food Valley. The ancient Lambrusco varietals even took their name from the historic, local families selecting them over the years. The terroir also produces wines using Malvasia Aromatica di Candia, Barbera, Chardonnay and Bonarda grapes: ancient varieties with a modern personality and the perfect pairing for traditional Emilian and Italian cuisine.
As well as traditional Parma wines, some wineries produce structured and full-bodied non-sparkling wines, aged in oak casks and barrique barrels: inside, the characteristics of the land, with its chalky, clay-rich soil, mingle with the subtle but distinct sensations typical of the great red wines produced using Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Barbera grapes.
Visit vineyards and local historic wineries. Take a cellar tour and learn about wine from producers, oenologists and sommeliers. Taste and toast with the Colli di Parma wines!
