From buying ingredients to setting up your work table, from preparing the recipe to enjoying the dishes you cooked
While it’s difficult to travel to Italy right now, we wanted to bring a taste of Italy to you. Join us for a series of cooking classes where we will cook together live, online from the heart of the Food Valley in Italy – Parma.
A creamy Risotto does not need cream!
It just needs the right variety of rice that grows in the rice fields of Northern Italy and the 4 golden rules of Risotto.
Risotto alla parmigiana is an icon of Italian cuisine for its simplicity, yet overwhelming sensory experience.
We will learn not only how to prepare Risotto, but also how to use some of the most famous Italian products in unconventional ways to explore all their amazing features: so get ready to learn more about Parmesan cheese, Prosciutto and tomatoes!
Risotto is naturally gluten free and vegetarian if you replace meat stock with vegetable stock.
Learn to cook some of Italy's legendary dishes together with our team and at the end, you will not only have the knowledge, but also a delicious meal to eat. Join Italian chef Ilaria Bertinelli and Food & Drinks expert Quyen Ha.
Ilaria was born in Parma, Italy where she comes from a family of farmers, and producers of Parmigiano Reggiano cheese - cooking runs in her blood. Quyen also comes from a family of rice farmers, and has worked in the Food and Drinks industry for over 15 years.
Living Italianly is a way of life. You don't have to live in Italy to live Italianly.
It's about how you approach life when it comes to family, friends, food, travel etc.
For example, Italian life has always centred around family and food, and the kitchen table is the hub where everyone gathers for dinner to enjoy each other's company and catch up on the day.
This is something that we can all relate to.
At any time in the future, when possible, decide on a trip to Italy and book your tour in Parma with Parma Incoming, your local expert!
We will be happy to organize your private tailor-made food and culture tour: you will have the chance of having lunch in Parma’s trattorias and restaurants, enjoy the same dishes you cooked online, buy the ingredients for your favorite recipes and, why not, meet Ilaria and Quyen in person!
All classes go from 4:00 to 6:00 PM Rome Time. Please do not hesitate to Contact us for different time arrangements based on you time zones.

Ilaria’s instructions were very clear. She shared with us all her tips and tricks, and at the end of the day my family enjoyed a memorable meal
I learned for the first time in my life how to make a fresh pasta (successful!) with a professional and also individual assistance of the chef. Thank you Ilaria!
Bellissima esperienza! Ilaria è bravissima, i tempi e le spiegazioni per farci cucinare in diretta sono perfetti, e durante le pause imposte dai tempi di cottura, dà consigli semplici ma molto utili!
I enjoyed the cooking class immensely. One may think they know everything abut cooking, but there is always something new to learn. and I was able to pick-up some great tips.
Chapeaux ad entrambe!
Bellissimo! E stato bellissimo! La prima pasta fatta in casa e la prima Bolognese by Olga!!! Grazie a Ilaria, a Nicoletta e tutti quanti per questa esperienza internazionale!
Not only did I get a tasty meal, but also some new knowledge about the Italian kitchen. My girlfriend & I enjoyed every moment of the class.
