Festival Verdi 2025
As a tour operator partner of the Teatro Regio di Parma, we are thrilled to present the highly anticipated 25th edition of the Festival Verdi which,alongside the 10th anniversary of Verdi Off, will take place in Parma and Busseto from September 20 to October 19, 2025.
This significant milestone pays tribute to the connection between the Maestro of Busseto and William Shakespeare, with three iconic operas and other major performances scheduled:
– Otello (Sept. 26, 5, 11, Oct. 19, 2025) – Teatro Regio di Parma
– Macbeth, presented in the 1847 version (Sept. 27, 4, 9, Oct. 17, 2025) – Teatro Verdi in Busseto
– Falstaff (Oct. 3, 12, 16, 2025) – Teatro Regio di Parma
– Gala Verdiano (Oct. 10, 2025) – Teatro Regio di Parma
– Messa da Requiem (Oct. 18, 2025) – Teatro Regio di Parma
The 25th edition of the Festival Verdi promises to be an unmissable event for music lovers and culture enthusiasts. The program features a spectacular lineup of three opera masterpieces, a concert section, and Ramificazioni, the segment dedicated to contemporary music. This includes a series of captivating performances, among which two Festival Verdi commissions: Timon Études by Luca Francesconi and Disdemona Δυσδαιμονία – Cattiva stella by Lenz Fondazione. Additionally, The Art of Running and 89 Seconds to Midnight emerge from Gradus, Passaggi per il Nuovo, a project of the Reggio Parma Festival dedicated to artists under 35.
Verdi Off celebrates its 10th anniversary by reviving some of its most iconic productions. With a special focus on inclusion and multidisciplinarity, it continues to be a project that brings Verdi’s music closer to an increasingly diverse and wide-ranging audience.
The Festival’s opening will be a spectacular event with the Verdi Street Parade – Tutto nel mondo è burla!.
